The website

This marketing site does not include analytics, advertising scripts, account registration, or tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served with the site. If the site is hosted publicly, its hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses, to serve pages and maintain security.

Upcoming dashboard

The dashboard and website recipe importer are still in development and are not available on this public site. This promo site does not collect or store recipe submissions.

When you capture a reel

The extension reads the visible caption or selected text on a Facebook or Instagram page when you request capture. It samples the video for photos. If direct video capture is unavailable, it captures the visible tab and crops that image to the reel locally.

Caption organization and photo ranking run on your device. The extension is designed to keep processing local, without sending your captions, photos, or recipes to an AI service or a Reelish server.

Your library and PDF history

Saved recipes, source captions, photos, links, and exported PDF snapshots are stored locally in your browser profile using IndexedDB. You can delete recipes and PDF snapshots from their respective library views. Removing a recipe does not automatically remove its previously exported PDFs.

Export your recipe library and download important PDFs before clearing browser data or uninstalling Reelish. Accounts and cloud sync are not currently available.

Permissions

The extension uses Chrome’s active-tab access, script injection, download, and clipboard-write permissions. It does not request permission to read all your websites in the background. Click the Reelish toolbar icon on the social tab you want to capture.

Example content

The lemon chicken orzo shown on this site is an example recipe. Its sample photograph was generated with AI for the demo. Actual captured recipe photos come from the reel or an image you upload.
